Let me first start off by saying that Battlefield 2: Modern Combat was on of the first online games i’d ever played, after Hardware: Online Arena. This was back in the day when I had the slimline Playstation 2 and getting online was a major hassle. However, Battlefield 2: Modern Combat was the game that really got me into the first person shooters, in fact, the day I bought my XBox 360, I also purchased Battlefield 2: Modern Combat…
This then led on to other games such as Gears of War, Call of Duty and so on. Now, as far as these type of games go, I own a pretty large collection of them. I have almost every Call of Duty game, all the battlefield games, Medal of Honor and a whole bunch of others, including Tom Clancy’s “Ghost Recon”. All of these games I enjoyed the campaign mode, and mostly the multiplayer stuff too, but, for a reason that is unknown to me, I have never managed to finish the campaign in any of the Battlefield games (excluding Modern Combat). Bad Company was great, I enjoyed it, the story is great but I never got to finish it, as for Bad Company 2, well, I never even got round to starting campaign mode on that game. I’m going to put this down to my friends. I didn’t want to start bad Company 2 campaign until I had finished Bad Company 1, and I couldn’t finish Bad Company 1, because every time I was playing it, my friends would nag at me to play online with them.
So back to the topic at hand, Battlefield 3, this has been very much anticipated, especially by me, and below you can check out the new Multiplayer Gameplay video. First of all, it looks fantastic, visually stunning and, well, just beautiful which has kind of re-sparked my love for the game. I really don’t know what else to say about it, just “wow”. One thing I do know, is that during the build up to the release day, I’ll be certainly trying to fit in a few hours of Bad Company Campaign to catch up on the campaign story I’ve missed. So along with Modern Warfare 3, i’ll be adding Battlefield 3 to my most wanted games this year, and definitely be putting in a pre-order. Anyway, check out the video below, if you can, play it in fullscreen and bump it up to 1080p resolution, its absolutely worth it.
Let me know what you think.
